The Christmas sheds are back! Like last year, you’ll find them at the foot of the Canebière from November 23. Craftsmen and designers will be on hand to offer you a wide range of artisanal creations for your Christmas gifts, or simply to treat yourself! Jewelry, sweets, decorations, fabrics, wooden toys… The Marseille Christmas market is also the perfect place to stroll the aisles, sip a glass of mulled wine or chocolate, and enjoy the end-of-year entertainment to the strains of the Jingle Bell!

The Santon Fair

The legendary Foire aux Santons opens its doors every year on the 3rd weekend in November. This year, the fair celebrates its 222nd anniversary, and on Saturday, November 16, santon makers will showcase their traditional skills.
The official inauguration takes place on Sunday, November 18 at 12pm, with folk groups and a mass celebrated as every year in the Eglise Saint-Ferréol. The fair is open every day.
Santons are an integral part of Provencal traditions. They can be found in the Christmas cribs that are organized every year in the vast majority of Provencal families.
