What is European Professional Club Rugby?

The EPCR was created in 2014 and organizes the 2 biggest club rugby competitions: the Champions Cup and the EPCR Challenge Cup, with the aim of a European Champion title. A total of 9 weekends enable these clubs to battle it out for the chance to add a star to their shirts! This year, the long-awaited finals will be held in Marseille, at the legendary Orange Vélodrome stadium.

A first at the Stade Orange Vélodrome

After 2 years of postponement due to the Covid 19 pandemic, rugby’s great celebration will finally take place in a mythical stadium: that of the Cité Phocéenne, the Orange Vélodrome. Marseille will become the 4th French city to host a Champions Cup final, after Bordeaux, Paris and Lyon.

The “Champions Rugby Village” will be located on the Esplanade du J4 right next to the Mucem, and will be the place to be during the EPCR weekend. The M2 metro station, just 2 steps from the fan zone, will take you to the Orange Vélodrome in just 20 minutes.

The village will be open to all, young and old, free of charge, and will feature a wide range of entertainment and, of course, sporting activities! Live match broadcasts on giant screens, autograph sessions, concerts, food trucks, bars… Everything is planned to make the event an unforgettable experience.

With a capacity of 9500 people, you’re sure to share an unforgettable moment with fans of the oval ball, as well as novices, curious to learn more about rugby and the exceptional atmosphere of the matches.
