L’Été marseillais is back for its 5th edition, from July 5 to September 1, 2024. All summer long, enjoy a diverse program of cultural, sporting and leisure activities, free of charge and accessible to all, in every district of the city. This year, a floating stage will once again be set up in front of the town hall to keep you entertained all summer long!

The pedestrian Old Port

As part of Marseille’s summer program, the city of Marseille offers you an eventful summer. Surprises and entertainment all summer long on the Old Port, now pedestrianized for the summer.
Cool areas will be at your disposal. Plantations, deckchairs and misters will be set up for all to enjoy! But that’s not all! You’ll also be able to take advantage of the facilities on Bargemon beach, including play areas for the little ones, sports fields, an eco-citizen village and evena boulodrome!

Other features

Craft market
This year, the lower part of the leafy Canebière is the setting for a craft market featuring some forty sheds. You’ll discover regional producers and local artisans. Open daily from 11am to 10pm, from July 1 to September 1, 2024.

The beaches
The Catalans beach will be open non-stop at weekends and from 7am to 11pm on weekdays. The other beaches will welcome you every day in the best possible conditions.
The City of Marseille offers free aquatic, nautical and land-based activities along the coast: paddle, rowing, sailing, etc.
On the Prado, the Hublot (a space dedicated to the discovery of the marine environment) will be open for all to enjoy.

Sports facilities
stadiums and municipal swimming pools will remain open all summer long in the various districts of the city.

Weekly Rendezvous

Wednesdays
Wednesdays are dedicated to children. From July 10 to August 28, the parks and gardens will be offering activities and entertainment at times suited to the very young, and outside the peak heat periods.

Thursdays
Thursdays are dedicated to museums. Temporary exhibitions are free (admission to municipal museums and permanent exhibitions is free all year round). Exceptionally, the museums will remain open from 7pm to 10pm, and artists’ collectives will be on hand to give you a rhythm for your visit.

Fridays and Saturdays
Karaoke (Parc Longchamp), popular balls (Place de la Major, August 9), tastings (Kouss Kouss festival) and shows.

Sundays
Entertainment in every district of the city.

Floating stage

It‘s going to be a festive summer in Marseille! To kick off this Marseilles summer, a giant floating stage will host its first concert at 8pm on July 6! Every week until August 4, concerts and shows will punctuate your evenings!
