Eclectic, high-quality shows

Throughout the year and until summer 2022, you can enjoy chamber music concerts in exceptional venues thanks to Marseille Concerts. The program includes the Quator Parisii at the Palais du Pharo, The Jungle Book at the Natural History Museum in the Palais Longchamp, Souad Massi and Birds on a Wire at the Théâtre de la Criée, and Massilia Sounds Gospel at the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. This year is special in that it marks 10 years of partnership with the Théâtre de la Criée, as well as the opening of the chamber music season in the majestic Palais du Pharo.

A story that goes back over 30 years!

The association was founded in 1986 by Maître Marcel Paoli, former deputy mayor in charge of music, and has been chaired by Robert Fouchet since 2009. After a year off due to the health situation, the Marseille Concerts association is back in top form to make way for “music above all else”, as Verlaine once said. Their favorite quote has guided them in bringing you this varied, top-quality program for classical music connoisseurs and neophytes alike. Marseille Concerts has chosen its artists with great eclecticism, giving pride of place to local talent. The association plays a key role in promoting Marseille’s superb cultural heritage.
