A culinary Odyssey on Degaby Island
A Marseille first
From early April to mid-October, Île Degaby, a little-known jewel in Marseille’s harbor, reveals its charms to locals and visitors alike. For the second year running, this exceptional site is hosting a temporary restaurant and bar, designed as a place to live, eat and share that’s unique in the Mediterranean.
A dive into the Grande Bleue
Accessible only after a 15-minute boat ride, the island offers an escape where time seems suspended. Guests can choose between the tranquility of a dinner in the restaurant, facing the setting sun, or the pleasure of a meal on the beach.
A culinary offering as close to the land as possible
In the kitchen, chef Sébastien Dugast , a former member of the Passedat brigade and a three-starred chef from Marseille, offers local cuisine with a Mediterranean twist, giving pride of place to seasonal produce and to the region’s producers and craftsmen, with whom he has built lasting relationships. Menus evolve with the seasons and are regularly updated. Signature dishes are meant to be shared and enjoyed alongside a carefully curated wine selection from Provence.
Your event
Perfect for hosting events, the island accommodates group bookings and private hire for professionals or individuals—from 10 to 350 people.
