The "Grand Hôtel du Louvre et de la Paix" is the most remarkable buildings in "Canebière", dating back to the Second Empire : today it is transformed into a department store, after having long sheltered the National Navy. Built by the architect Pot, it offers an interesting decoration, especially the statuary group : caryatids representing the four continents, work of the sculptor Ferrat.
