The cathedral, built from 381 onwards, is one of the most beautiful romanesque buildings in Provence.
Of a refined style, it has undergone many reshuffles, the most visible of which is that of the eleventh century. In spite of its partial destruction for the construction of the New Major, this church is an important witness of the roman art in Provence. Inside, a remarkable earthware bas relief, attributed to the Della Robbia Brothers ( end of XVth. beginning of the XVth century) represents the descent from the Cross.
