The chapel of "Saint-Catherine" is adjacent to the church of Saint-Laurent. It was built in 1604, for the White Penitents "les Pénitents Blancs". Its late gothic vaulting with liernes and tiercerons is unique in Marseille.
The chapel contains many works of art, some of which are from "Saint-Laurent".
It is only open during concerts and cultural conferences that it hosts.
