Prado Sud beach is a 280 meter long pebble and gravel beach, preceded by large areas of lawn. There is a first aid station, lockers, toilets, snack bars and garbage garbage cans.
In order for all Marseilles residents to fully enjoy the beaches and swimming, the city of Marseilles has multiplied its initiatives in favor of the disabled and, more generally, those with reduced mobility.
The beaches of Prado Sud and Prado Nord were the first coastal beaches to be awarded the "Tourism and Disability" label in France, as early as 2005.

They were awarded the "Tourism and Disability" label in France in 2005.
This label was renewed in 2016.
