After learning his trade as a chef with Frantz Riederer, Georges Weibel opened his first cake shop in 1954.
Thanks to his recipes and high-quality products, he enjoyed great success in the town for many years. His son, Nicolas, took over from him in 1988 after being promoted to master chocolate-maker, ice-cream maker, cake-maker and sweet-maker.
