Marina Olympique de Marseille

Infrastructure and access

The Marina Olympique de Marseille undergoes a metamorphosis and shines with a thousand lights to become the stage for the most prestigious international nautical events.

The Roucas Blanc water sports center

The Roucas Blanc nautical base, selected for its privileged location and optimal climatic conditions, is the scene of an ambitious renovation. This site, which has seen the birth of many champions, is now ready for top-level sailing competitions, embodying Marseille’s passion for the sea and sailing. The Roucas-Blanc site, known for its nautical activities since the 19th century, boasts a nautical base developed at the end of the 1970s with the establishment of the Prado seaside park. This base will be used as a launch point for the vessels competing in the 2024 Olympic Games.

Infrastructure designed with the public in mind

With the arrival of the 2024 Olympic Games, the Marina Olympique has equipped itself with modern, ephemeral infrastructures to comfortably accommodate the public. Over 7,000 m² ofbuildings have now been constructed, while 17,000 m² of outdoor space and 6 hectares of pool have been redeveloped. Spacious bleachers offer a breathtaking view of the regattas, while convivial areas allow visitors to eat and relax between events. The marina is also equipped with areas dedicated to the press and sports teams, ensuring optimal media coverage and preparation conditions.

To celebrate the Games and share in this major international sporting event, the City of Marseille has chosen to set up its “Club 2024” on the Prado beaches, close to the Olympic Marina. Ideally positioned between the Roucas-Blanc water sports stadium and the Stade Vélodrome, the Club 2024 is the place to watch the Olympic Games and to celebrate, bringing together Marseillais, French and foreign visitors around a cultural and festive program.
