What to do in Redonne ?
Discover the calanque
When you approach it, either by road or by train, you are immediately struck by the view over the crystal clear waters and the magnificent panorama of the Mediterranean.
It is a very small cove with little access for bathing: a narrow sandy beach and another of large pebbles… But if you venture out on the surrounding paths, you can reach some rocks from which you can dive (not suitable for young children).
If you wander through the alleys and paths, you will discover a few huts that still exist, although recent constructions with sea views, each as imposing as the next, tend to replace them.
To be discovered in the immediate vicinity
- Going towards Niolon: the Anthénors, Figuière and Méjean creeks by the GR51.
- Going towards Carry le Rouet: walk towards the Madrague de Gignac and the Eaux salées cove: head towards the sandy beach then take the path on the left which overhangs and winds between beautiful villas, revealing beautiful views of the cove and the harbour of Marseille along the way. You will then arrive at La Madrague de Gignac and from there, take the GR51 leading to the calanque des Eaux salées.
