Concept and layout of the rugby village in Marseille
A place for everyone
The French and international supporter: in order to extend their stadium experience pre-match or simply penjoy the entertainment in a festive atmosphere.
The Marseillais: in order to live the experience of this international sporting event, with family or friends, to discover a hybrid, ephemeral venue and d get involved and feel fulfilled in their city.
Associations: to take advantage of the village’s spaces to initiate, raise awareness and entertain all members of school and association structures.
Young people: to take their first steps with a rugby ball, to discover the world of ovalie in a warm and caring spirit, and to take part in inclusive activities.
Rugby village location
The village will be located on Quai de la Fraternité, the site of the fish market and the ‘Ombrière Foster’. Various tents will be set up to accommodate areas for entertainment, catering, relaxation, a farmers’ market, toilets.
Village opening times: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10am to 7pm and Thursday 21 September.
